Thanks to Lyric Street for the two fantastic shots of Bucky Covington from his recent photo shoot. Talk about being totally fabulous and sexy as heck!

Tour Talk: Bucky Covington and the Awesome Band have another busy week out on the west coast starting on Wednesday, July 15 at the Santa Barbara County Fair which is in Santa Maria, California. Then on Friday the 17th, they head to another fair, this time the Linn County Fair in Albany, Oregon. Check our left sidebar for future shows.

Chart Chat: After a rather turbulent week on the charts, Bucky's latest single, "I Want My Life Back" is at # 35 on the Mediabase "Published Charts" this morning after yet another superstar pole-vault occurred and # 32 on the "All Stations" chart. There aren't many above him that are going recurrent any time soon and still a couple more superstars on his tail so we need to request hard to keep his place and maybe repass a few. Get your family and friends to help!

Chart News: Only 63 days until Bucky's sophomore album comes out and "I Want My Life Back," the first single is steadily making his way up the charts with a few bumps along the way. Today, our new favorite song is # 33 on the Mediabase 'Published Chart' with an extremely small bullet and # 31 on the 'All Station Chart'. Bucky really, really needs your help this week. Do not be shy, picky up that phone and request,request, request.

Tour Talk: It looks like Bucky gets a few days off before heading back out west to Sheridan, Wyoming, on Friday, July 3rd, for the Sheridan Rodeo. If you have not bought Tickets, get them fast! On Saturday, Bucky opens for Blake Shelton in Greely, Colorado, at the Greely Stampede which promises to be on heckuva show. And on Sunday, July 5th, Bucky and the Awesome Band make their Canadian debut in Manitoba at the Dauphin's CountryFest and we hope you get to go! Tickets may still be available!

BTW, it's only 70 days until "Bucky, Too" or "Bucky Two" or whatever Lyric Street chooses to name Bucky's second album. That's not too far away!

Tour Talk: The CMT awards are coming up this Wednesday evening and although Bucky does not have a video in the running this year and (hurumph!!!) was not asked to be a presenter, it should be fun to watch all of our other country favs. Check it out at CMT.com. Thursday, June 18th, Bucky will head to Memphis, Tennessee, for Kix on Beale and join fellow country artist, Randy Houser for a fun. And the light week during an othewise exhaustive schedule will take Bucky to Neenah, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 20th, at Willie Beamon's Bar & Grill for a great outdoor festival.

Bucky Schedule At CMA Fest & More!

Tour Talk: Today, there is the WWYX radio event in Hartford, Connecticut. Then the CMA Fest kicks off with the Bucky Fan Club Party on Wednesday, June 8, at Rocketown in Nashville, Tennessee. Thursday, Bucky will be signing autographs at three different times. Check our left sidebar for times and locations. On Friday, Bucky heads on the Riverfront Stage at 11:30 a.m. for the free half hour set. Remember that those that have the 4 day CMAFest passes get in first but all seats are good at Riverfront. Sunday is the Winstock Festival in Winstead, Minnesota, where Bucky will take the stage at 4:55 p.m.

This fun shot of Bucky with Ducky Medlock rocking out was snapped by Wade at the Neon Armadillo during last week's four day run through Texas.


Chart Talk: Bucky's latest single - "I Want My Life Back" starts off this week in position #37 on the Mediabase published chart and #36 on the all station chart. The bullets are not as fat as we would like. We want them OBESE so remember your daily requests.

Chart News: After a wild week last week, it looks like Bucky is firmly planted inside the Top 40 this week holding position 39 on both Mediabase charts as of 8:09 p.m. last night. It's too early for the Monday morning chart at post time so check our comment section later on as we expect a big increase in the bullet from the weekend and be sure to check out Buckymania for the latest news each and every day.

There is definitely room for upward mobility this week as well as at least one or two superstars jumping over. What does this mean?
