Afternoon News!

Sigh! (5/17/08)

The title is wishful thinking only. There is no news! Speculation is that Bucky Covington is in Vegas at some of the pre-ACM festivities just hanging out with his fellow country artists and friends. But, there was no nomination in cards for our favorite rising star this year but maybe we will see a glimpse of him among the coverage. Sigh!

On the Charts: Mediabase is still showing Bucky Covington's 3rd single, "I'll Walk" at # 51 and # 52 where it has been almost the entire week but there may be some movement Sunday afternoon as a couple of songs might go recurrent. Of course, the bullets on both are getting fatter which is a great sign! But feel free to do an afternoon or evening request at your local station!

On the Tube, Radio and Around the Web: ACM Awards show is tomorrow night on GAC and CMT has some coverage also. Check your local listings.

Bucky works the crowd at Huntsville's Big Spring Jam for your viewing pleasure. Googling around, which is very similar to fooling around but not quite as much fun, Buckytown USA has not made the first few pages when you search for Bucky Covington although we did get our first Google Alert today. How often do you google Bucky?

If you come across Buckyfan,com when you are googling, it is site about ceiling fans and such, not Bucky Covington. But, if you have time, go visit Bucky at Music AOL and VH1 and check out what is there.
