Chart Chat: Scotty's 2nd single is at #19 with a fat bullet. Casey's and Lauren's songs are sitting at #32 and #36 respectively. Music Row's weekly chart had Bucky's IWBTF at # 79 but Mediabase only goes to #50. #79 is respectable considering the song has not been officially released yet. Has anyone heard the "OFFICIAL RELEASE" date?

Thanks to Hildi for sending us this super fun photo from of Ducky Medlock and Bucky Covington from the Medrock show last night in Hendersonville, Tennessee. We heard the show was fabulous and a fun time was had by all plus, Bucky sang a sang a couple of songs.

Other than the guest appearance at the Medrock show, nothing else has popped up news-wise but if you actually have a live DJ at your station on Sundays, please call them up to request "I Wanna Be That Feeling."

In case you missed Bucky's performance on Fox 17 TV, here's a link! Bucky's "I Wanna Be That Feeling" is getting a fair amount of buzz as it was Amazon's song of the day the other day and listed as a "soon to be charted" on Music Row's list of upcoming tunes.

Finally, IWBTF is listed under cool new music on Allaccess.com but an official release date is still not showing up under "future releases."

It appears that the January 14th show previously on Bucky's Official Schedule for Cottleville, Missouri, has been removed and that has been confirmed from two sources. Sorry Missourians!!! Let's hope the tour schedule starts to fill up soon.

There has been no official release date for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" in any of the Country Trades and although Bucky has said to start requesting it, it's hard to do when your DJ says he does not have it yet. What do we do???

Things are very quiet through out the country music world as artists take some time off to spend with family during this wonderful Christmas Season. It's a great day to wish fellow Buckaneers a Merry Christmas over at Bucky's Official Site and catch up on Buckymania early before your own Christmas plans start.

There's another new show added to our "unofficial" schedule but the venue is unknown. On April 7th, Bucky and the Awesome Band will be in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. We hope the Official Site updates Bucky's site soon!

Here's a link from one of the Birmingham TV stations with footage of Bucky bowling and the story behind the Trussville show (after the 6 second commercial) which raised over $5000 for the injured firefighter and there will probably be more stories and videos later popping up so check out Winnie at Buckymania later on today and every weekday for all your Bucky news! You can still donate to this worthy cause at the bottom of the footage.

Finally, we have the venue for Bucky's New Year's Eve performance in Las Vegas on December 31st. He will be at Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar" which is located inside of Harrah's Las Vegas. You can do the $25 person for Toby's Bar or do a $125 package for all 3 drinking venues and drinks are included. Also, $10,000 worth of prizes will be given out from 9 pm to 2 am during the parties!

And 2 shows have popped up in January but we do not have any venues yet. On Friday, January 13th, Bucky and the Awesome Band will be in Evansville, Indiana, and on Saturday, January 14th, they will be in Cottleville, Missouri, which is just a tad northwest of St. Louis.

Also, there's a show scheduled for Friday, April 13th, in Shelby, North Carolina, at the Don Gibsonr Theatre although tickets are NOT on sale yet for this one.

Casey's "Let's Don't Call It A Night" is moving up slowly and is at # 35 this week. Lauren's "Georgia Peaches" is moving up steadily and is up to #39 already. We still have not seen any official release date for Bucky's "I Wanna Be That Feeling" but with radio stations beginning to play Christmas Carols, it's a bet that the charts will be topsy-turvy for the next two weeks.

I posted yesterday that there were 4 shows left but that is according to Bucky's Official Site. However, we have two more shows on our left sidebar that have been confirmed by the venue but for some reason are not on Bucky's Official Tour List.

The Thursday, December 1st show at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as the Perryville, Maryland, show scheduled for December 10th are missing from the Official Schedule. Let's hope they get them on it today!

Scotty's latest single is back up to #30 on the chart but the bullet is skinny. Casey J. is at #38 with an invisible bullet. Lauren A's latest is at #43 for a second week - also with an invisible bullet. FYI, Bucky's former label mates, Love & Theft have a new release which is #48 with a healthy bullet!

We do not have a video from "The Ride" which was added to the set list for the weekend but here's a version from way back. Enjoy.

Bucky continues to expand his own classic style as evidenced by the fun photo shot by Patricia R at Friday night's show in Bucky's home town of Rockingham, North Carolina.

The Rockingham show and the Murrells Inlet show both had nice size crowds and the recaps and photo links should be popping up soon at Buckycovington.com. Remember you have to be a fan club member to read the forums (and to get meet & greets) but it is so worth it!

Also there is great merchandise at the store on Bucky's official site. You can order a new tote bag, or the new brightly colored T-shirt or a warm hoody for a fellow Buckaneer for Christmas and BCO will mail it directly to person!

There are only 4 concerts left for 2011 and only 27 shopping days until Christmas! There is only 1 date in July of 2012--- let's hope the 2012 calender starts filling up soon and we all needs some Bucky shows in January and February and it is nice to plan in advance! Speaking of Christmas-- head to BCO and get your name on the Christmas Card Exchange list!

Here's a great photo by Jason Kempin of Getty Images from last night's ASCAP Country Music Awards at the Opryland Resort in Nashville. We are so happy that Bucky is making appearances at this and other big Country Music events even if he is not up for an award because he needs to keep his name out there!

Chart News: Only 3 former Idol contestants are on the Mediabase chart this morning with Scott M moving up to # 30, Casey J up to #37 and Lauren A's 2nd single debuting at #49. No official word yet as to the release date for Bucky's next single but we are hoping it is Tuesday, December 27th, so he will get a jump on the oodles of songs that are to be released in January.

Tour Talk: The only show (so far) this upcoming weekend is Saturday, October 29th at the River Room Saloon in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Tickets $20 or VIP $50 but you need to call for Reservations (931)685-5080. This is a Halloween Bash so dress appropriately as we heard Bucky was going to be the costume judge!

Chart Chat: Scotty M's 2nd song is currently up to # 33 and Casey J. song has moved up to# 39. Kellie P's song has fallen off of the chart but hopefully she will have a new out ASAP. There is no official word on All Access or Country Aircheck (two important trade sites) as to the release date of Bucky's next single but we hope to read or hear something official soon!

There are lots of new artists on the charts this week and the former Idol Contestant's all seem to in the middle of the pack. Kellie P's "Tough" is hanging tough at # 34. Scotty's 2nd single is up to # 39. Lauren A's swan song is at #40 but sliding. Casey J's first release at #44 and rising slowly.

Tour Talk: This upcoming Friday, October 21st, the Starkville, Mississippi, State Theater hosts Bucky. Tickets $12 in advance. The Boys then travel to Vidalia, Louisiana on Saturday, the 22nd for the Free "Bluff and Bayou Music Fest". Ya'll Come!

The word from attendees at the Breathitt Heritage Fair in Jackson, Kentucky, last night is that Terra has 4 new colors in a new and clever style Bucky T-shirt in a bright blue, red, orange and bright green. She is also selling a very warm hooded, navy sweat shirt that has a very classic look and came in handy for this outdoor concert in 50 degree weather. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!

The elves also said it will probably be early January for the release of the next single, "I Want To Be That Feeling" so we Buckaneers must be patient for a little longer!

With "I'm Alright" already out there as an EP, we were wondering if maybe Bucky's long awaited sophomore album will still keep that title and art work or will the fabulous new label come up with a different title. We were thinking "Bucky Two" or "Bucky Too!" or "I Want To Be That Feeling."

But the other former Idol Finalists are making their marks on the charts with Kellie P hanging tough at #31 with her latest "Tough." Lauren A is struggling at #39 with the mother's anthem, Scotty M's 2nd song, "The Trouble With Girls" is up to #39 and Casey James moves to # 48 with his first single. Carrie's latest # 1 "Remind Me" with Brad P. has dropped off the charts this week after scoring another top spot for both of them.

We found out a little more about the Bluff and Bayou Music Festival in Vidalia, Louisiana, at the Vidalia Amphitheater on Saturday, October 22nd. This is a FREE family oriented event with music, booths, food and free gifts all afternoon. Bucky Covington is the headliner and High Roads, Hanna Belle and Crossing Over will be there also.

On Monday, the 19th of September at 6 pm begins the concert part of the On The Course For Kids, Celebrity Golf Tournament but the fun lasts all day at the Quail Chase Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky. Advance tickets are only $15.

If you are planning on going to the Breathitt Heritage Fair in Jackson, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 1st, you should get there early as the music starts at noon and runs all day until Bucky hits the stage at 7:00 p.m. Also, bring a lawn chair. This concert is at Douthitt Park and is free but parking will cost you $5.00.

Bucky will be performing a show for the military on Saturday, September 10th at Joint Base Andrews (Andrews A.F.B.) which is just a little southeast of Washington, D.C. Then on Monday the 12th, he will be in Towson, Maryland which is just a little north of Baltimore. He will be at the Rechter Theatre at 7 p.m. This is an all ages show and tickets are $15 for ages 21 & over and $16 if under 21. However, this show is not on his official schedule so call first!

Chart update: No Bucky yet! Scotty's song drops to #18, Kellie P's is #31, Lauren A's is # 40, Danny G's enters at #51.

The details of the Sunday, September 4th, Iowa County Fair in Mineral Point, Wisconsin are up and fair admission is only $8 with kids under 12 are free! Bucky will be performing at 8 p.m. at the grandstand but I would get there early for a good spot.

Our sidebar had a show on September 1st in Pineville, WV. The lead came from a google alert but it appears that Aaron Tippin's performance is now scheduled for September 3rd and Bucky is not listed anywhere any more. Perhaps there was just a mistake in the first article or Bucky's schedule didn't work when the 3rd ended up being the date. Our apologies but remember, our schedule is unofficial!

For those lucky folks in or near St. Robert, Missouri, you can still get tickets at the door of the Trinity Entertainment Complex for tonight's Bucky Covington concert. Tickets are $23 at the door. Show starts at 8:00 p.m. CT.

Saturday morning is a great time to do the weekly Nashville Country Club weekly poll and the Rate The Music Polls. Make it a habit because (1) they are fun and (2) Bucky's next single could be on any time now! I multi-task and clean my den while each new song is playing! The single release date has not made it to the All-Access page yet. Come on Eone!

Good Morning Buckaneers! Here is a sexy shot of Bucky from last weekend in Pennsboro taken by Ms. Measles.

Speaking of photos, GAC has one hot one of Bucky Covington!

Bucky is back in Wisconsin for a second time this week but this time he will be in Arcadia with Lee Greenwood at the Memorial Park Amphitheater. It is a free concert sponsored by "Ashley For The Arts" but all proceeds will be donated for children in need during the Holidays.

Bucky's next single, "I Want To Be That Feeling", is not listed yet on All Access list of impacting songs but he told fans at a recent concert that it would be within the next month. Let's hope the word gets out soon as there are lots of other new songs coming up for release in the next few weeks!.

It's another busy week for Bucky Covington and the Awesome Band as they head to Gleason, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 11th for the The FuddFest. Then on Friday, August 12th, it's off to Ironwood, Michigan for the Gogebic County Fair.

The week concludes on Saturday, August 13th in Arcadia, Wisconsin, for a free concert at the Memorial Park Amphitheater. We hope you get to at least one of these shows. Remember we would love a link to your photos!

Thanks to Measles for another one of her great shots from last weekend in West Virginia.

Tonight, Bucky Covington appears with Craig Morgan, Sarah Darling and more for Craig's 5th annual Charity Ride and Acoustic Concert at Dickson Middle School in Dickson, Tennessee. The show starts at 7 pm.

Looks like another show has popped up on September 19th at the Quail Chase Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, although it is not on the official schedule yet. Jay Ballinger and Friends along with Nationwide Insurance present Celebrity Golf Tournament and Acoustic Concert will present a celebrity golf tournament with an acoustic concert in that evening with Bucky Covington, Jake Owen, Josh Thompson, and Miss Willie Brown. It's $100 for the Golf part (with a dinner included), and the acoustic performance tickets are $15 regular and $50 VIP.

Tour Talk: It's a busy weekend for Bucky coming up. On Friday, August 5th, he will be at the Grand Ole Opry. On Saturday, August 6th, he will Craig Morgan and others for a Charity Ride that includes lunch near Dickson,Tennessee. This event starts at 10 and lunch is at 11:00. It's only $15 for spectators and worth every penny. And if you are brave, it's only $40 to participate. Last time Bucky was at this event, twin Rocky joined in the fun too!

On Sunday evening, August 7th, Bucky will join Craig again for an Acoustic Concert at the Dickson Middle School that starts at 7 p.m. Sarah Darling and Pam Tillis will also be joining in. Tickets are $35. The Charity Ride and the Concert will benefit Billy's House - a temporary home for displaced Children and tickets can be purchased at Sage Payments.

There's another new show that just popped up on Bucky's Official Site for September 10th. Bucky will be at "Joint Base Andrews" more commonly called "Andrews Air Force Base." Did you know it has both Air Force and Navy at this base? We have no details yet but this may be a private thing for the military people only and is just a tad southeast of Washington, D.C.

We got a text that Bucky has indeed inked with the new label. We were getting concerned because even though there was the tweet about it this week, there was not an official press release about it floating around. But, straight from the horse's mouth to my friend's cell - the deal is official.

Bucky takes the stage tonight for the Buchanan Country Fair in Grundy, Virginia, at 8 p.m. This is a free concert with fair admission! This is at Poplar Gap Park and there is music all day long so get there early!

Looks like Bucky and the Awesome Band have this weekend off but the next weekend has two shows:

On Friday, July 22 he will be at the Pennsboro Motor Speedway in Pennsboro, West Virginia, for the Ellenboro FD Summer Bash. On Saturday, he will be at the Buchanan Country Festival in Grundy, Virigina. This is a free show with admission.

We are still hoping for an announcement within a few days about a new record deal for our favorite recording artist. For the latest news ,remember Buckytown will post on Saturday, Sunday and Monday only starting this week. Our mentor and favorite Blogger, Winnie at Buckymania, should be along around noon-ish today and every weekday. (Monday through Friday) so check it out!

Sources say Cafe Firenze II was packed last night in Clanton, Alabama, and Bucky and the Awesome band gave an awesome concert. Recaps and photos should be popping up soon on Bucky's Official Website under the member-only forums.

MaryMc also captured most of a new song that was added to the set list for just a couple of shows. This is "Strong Enough To Make It" from Wild Bill's. It is sideways only the first couple of seconds, then turns to normal! We love this song!

We found out the reason the July 15 show in Roberts, Montana, was cancelled. It seems this was supposed to be a large multi-artist show and the promoters of the Bear Tooth Rally just could not get enough local support to sponsor it again this year.

Jacksonville.com calls Bucky one of the "fan-friendliest" artist today! Check out this super fan-friendly video of Bucky with "Hometown" in the background and thanks to the kind Anon that pointed it out to us!
